The third season of the drama series starts about three months after the ending of Season 2. Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) is now out in the real world, carrying the five processing cores she stole from the park's mainframe. Meanwhile, Maeve (Thandie Newton) finds herself stuck in the World War II park, where she reunites with Lee (Simon Quarterman) and Hector (Rodrigo Santoro). William (Ed Harris) also managed to escape Westworld, but has to deal with the guilt of murdering his own daughter. As the season progresses, Dolores befriends Caleb (Aaron Paul), a young man who ends up helping her in fighting for the freedom of all the hosts.
